Heartfelt thanks

In the midst of all that is going on we need to thank each and every person that has visited our blog and left a comment, prayed for sweet Mia, or posted to their blog asking for prayers for Mia. We are humbled and overwhelmed by the support and prayers that are being offered by total strangers, friends, and family. I have tears in my eyes as I read each and every comment and feel the prayers being said for us and Mia. You never truly know until you are in a difficult situation especially with one of your children how much this means. The few moments it has takes to post a comment have meant the world to us and at times come at the exact moment that we needed encouragement. What a gift it will be to share with Mia one day about the love, concern, and support of family, friends, and strangers who held her up in prayer during such a tremedous trial in her life.

Continuing to pray for Mia's strength and healing here in Tennessee, and for strength for you. My heart goes out to you, and we don't have to know each other to have the whole world in common after going through what we go through to bring these babies home, let alone when they are sick!

Blessings,

Ann

Melinda-
Not only will I will continue to pray for healing on sweet Mia's heart, but I will also ask God to give you the strength and power to keep going. I can't imagine how physically drained you must feel, not to mention how emotionally spent. Praying for God's hands on all of you....

We are in the process of our 2nd adoption (an 18 month old boy with a CHD...transposition of the great arteries, VSD, and PS), so I know how important comments can be. On our trip to Russia to adopt our daughter, it was the comments left on our blog that really lifted my spirits when I became homesick. I also know when our son, Jia Ke, comes home we will need the same support from friends and family during our time in the hospital. Just knowing that others are there praying is such a huge encouragement. I'm just glad that they have helped lift your spirits as they lifted mine.
