On bypass

I just talked to the nurse and she said Mia is doing great and was intubated without any problem. She is now on bypass. The surgeon is now starting the correction process of the surgery. Please continue to keep our sweet girl in your prayers.

Hello everyone,

I am Melinda's younger sister, Danielle, and I wanted to take the opportunity to thank you all for praying for our sweet little Mia. As a family member who has gone through this adoption journey with my sister and brother-in-law, it has been a rollercoaster of emotions. But the past few months have been filled with joy since Mia has come home. As Melinda said, we know this is another mountain for this resilient girl to climb. I am confident with God's grace she will come out of this surgery a healthy little girl. I look forward to watching her grow and continue to learn. Thank you for praying for my family today. Melinda is lucky to have people like you in her life. I am learning through all of this that adoptive parents are truly special people - angels from above!
