Preparing for the final word on the next procedure

While we still have not received official word there are rumors this morning that Mia will be having the "uncommon" procedure today to inject her chest tube and hopefully dissolve the fluid. Again I was told it is pretty painful so I will be requesting the max sedation that they can give her. I am still waiting on rounds to hear the final verdict but that is where we are heading. She will also have an echo while she is sedated. Big sigh.

Melinda,
I will be praying for you today, and precious Mia. The homestretch sure does seem long. When you see it in hind sight you will say you can't imagine how you endured it except for God's mighty arms holding you up and cradling your baby girl...but you ARE enduring. I will pray every time I think of you just to be able to hang in there for Mia.

Blessings to you,

Ann

Oh Melinda....I am praying right now. Last night I came across a Scripture and immediately thought of you. It is Isaiah 54:10 "Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed," says the Lord, who has compassion on you."

He has you in His hands...praying that you can rest in that today.

I am so sorry that you have to walk through this instead of around it. I was so optimistic that you would be spared this.
We are praying for you all.

Praying at this point that its over and done with and you can all relax again and let Mia begin to heal. The Lord has his arms wrapped around you and is holding you in his warm embrace.

Melinda,
HUGS to you... cling to that verse Isaiah 54:10 that someone here mentioned. I pray you'll find His presence to be comforting to you and Mia despite these circumstances. Praying also for Dan & the boys... I know life at home just isn't the same without everyone together. Hang in there.
