After nearly 20 hours of travel time we are finally home! We arrived home around 10:30pm on Friday night to a wonderful but emotional homecoming! We were greeted by my parents, the boys, my sister, and my good friend Bev. It was a perfect homecoming after such a long flight. Mia did great on the long journey home and slept between Dan and I on the big flight from Beijing to Newark, NJ from 9:00pm to 4:30am. Everyone was so excited to meet her and she did so well with all of the attention.
We are slowly recovering from jet lag and Saturday was pretty much a blur. Mia and I both returned home with colds. Each day we are feeling a little better and are so glad to be back on US soil! There is no place like home!

Welcome home. Your pictures are precious...tears and all. Such an emotional journey. Best wishes with your upcoming doctors appointments. Please don't hesitate to contact me with cardiology questions.
SOOO happy to see you home and with your boys AND your girl! I got choked up seeing the pix of you greeting them. I can only imagine what it was like to be away from them for so long.
They will LOVE Mia, I'm sure. Rest up and enjoy your bonding time.
Will email you soon.
Congrats, and welcome home! So happy for you!
Love the pics, everyone looks so happy (exhausted, anxious...); enjoy those memories and make new ones...talk to you soon.

Glad you're home safe and sound. That's wonderful she did so well on her flight. What sweet pictures from your homecoming at the airport. Rest and enjoy your time back home with your family as a whole.
So glad you all are home and now all together as one big and happy family!! :) Your pictures are precious with the boys welcoming Mia and you both home. I can't wait to see her! Heading to Dayton again this week but will try to call when I get back. I'm thinking you guys are so busy now with family and friends visiting that I'll have to wait in line! LOL But anyways, so glad your journey brought you home safe and now you can begin a new chapeter together with little Mia. Take care and try to get some rest, hope you both feel better!

Welcome back!! The photos are great, love the signs (our kids made them for Lainey, too!) and you look sweetly emotional hugging those boys :) Get out in the sun!! Jet lag goes away quicker when you get lots of outside time.
Welcome home! So good to see you are home. The picture of you hugging one of your sons made me cry. I think we should leave the US more often so we truly feel blessed to live here... I am sure it feels great to be back!
Thanks for sharing your blog with us on ChinaHeartChild yahoo group. We will keep you family in our prayers as you prepare for surgery. Our daughter was 19 months when we got her last year and is a ToF baby too. She is doing so well and is a true blessing. Welcome back home.
