Middle name dilemma

We have been discussing choosing a middle name for Mia. I feel strongly about incorporating part of her Chinese name. To me her name will be one of the only thing she comes to us with and I really want to keep part of her Chinese name as her middle name. I like the name Grace for no specific reason other than I have always really liked it. Somedays I feel like it is only by God's "grace" that we have made it through this process and continue to have the strength to carry on. I like the name Faith because we have truly had to rely on our "faith" to make it through this process. My faith has grown so much in this process. I like Hope because "hope" is what has sustained us through the many obstacles we have faced and the long wait. We wait with "hope" because through our "faith" and by His "grace" we know we are following the path that He has laid out for us.

So where does "Bella" and "Christina" fit into all of this? My mom has suggested both of these names. Bella means "beautiful" and Mia Bella has a different sound to it that I really like. My mom suggested Christina to me last night because it is my middle name. She thinks it would be nice for Mia to have my middle name. I am not all that crazy about Mia Christina. I think she just feels guilty because my brother was named after my dad and my sister was named after her. So who was I named after? Noone and it has been a running joke for us. I also think that when we incorporate her Chinese name it could make for a really long name since our last name is long. Dan has pretty much left the decision up to me and while we will have to wait to see what sounds best with her given Chinese name it still remains a dilemma because there is no particular name that I really love more than the others. So what do you think?

I like Hope or Grace. Our little one has four names. I think it is OK! :-)

I vote whatever her Chinese name is. She will like it when she is older.

We chose to use our daughters first name, Xin Ru, as her middle name...Abigail Xin Ru. I agree, its all they have, even though they were likely named by the orphanage, in our case its what she was for two years...so we kept it. Nice to have found your blog, glad your spirits are up...

I have been pondering the same thing. I do think I am going to keep her Chinese name as that is her heritage and her connection to her past ... but at the same time I want to take a piece of the connection from her present that it took to get her here ... and for me that word is Faith and so this adoptive Mom is planning on incorporating both of those names. I love your thinking behind all three Faith, Hope & Grace ... but I do think that the names Grace and Faith go best with Mia -- so those are my votes : )

My vote is Grace. I like the way it sounds with Mia! Just my opinion!

I vote Mia Grace. I like the meaning of "grace" and we used it for Emma-lia. We tried to keep part of Emma's Chinese name and just could not work it. They told us it was a boys name and not to use it when we were in China! So, we sadly do not have it in her name. I would suggest trying to put a piece of her Chinese name in her given name. Mia Xu Grace, something like that. :)

If you want to know how to lose 10 lb in a calendar week, you are likely not seeing for a common diet and work out plan. You can lose weight with a common diet and workout plan, However this involves a lot of time doing intensive cardio works out and following a strict diet. Here I will outline the exact steps that I took to lose 10 pounds in just a calendar week.

1. Stay away from all deep-fried nutrients for the week
2. Drink an 8oz glass of grapefruit with breakfast every day. (this accelerates up your metabolism)
3. Eat average portions (stop taking when you are full)
4. Rather than eating 3 big a meals a day, consume 5-6 small meals to keep your metabolism up and keep your body burning fat.
5. Aviod your habbit of eating after 9 P.M.. Its good to eat before 9 P.M. so that our body gets proper time to burn calories before sleep.
6. Have a proper sleep everyday. Not taking enough rest has been proved to be a major factor to the body storing excess fat.
7. Utilise a body/colon clean for the 7 days. This will get rid of unneeded weight stored close to the tummy area as well as cleanse your body of harmfull pollutants that makes you store fat and feel tired. Flush away excess pounds around the stomach area that otherwise would be hard to lose.
8. I suggest you using Acai Berry Diet Pills. This one is proven to work, and you can get a free trial.
9. For those mens/womens who wish to burn fat quickly, avoid alcohol.
